DR-24 Vibroscope (EG / IG / Ex)

The vibroscope is designed for recording elastic vibration parameters during diagnostic surveys and monitoring of the current condition of various engineering structures and facilities, as well as for seismic monitoring in various seismic investigations. All three versions of the instrument are built on the same component base and differ in their enclosure and sensor connection method.

DR-24 EG (INDM.416613.001-01)
External sensor connection, minimum noise level

A vibroscope whose key feature is the ability to connect an external sensor (for example, Guralp CMG-6T, CME 4311, etc.) or other sensors with an analogue output of up to ±2.5 V in the frequency range from 0.1 to 128 Hz, such as analogue pressure sensors via an interface/matching device. The configuration with an external sensor ensures a minimum self-noise level.

DR-24 EG (INDM.416613.001-02)
The most compact and lightweight version with a three-component geophone
90 × 80 × 190 mm, 1,750 g*, built-in GS-ONE LF geophone

The most compact version. This version is designed for on-site instrumental surveys of buildings and structures. It features removable feet for convenient stacking during transport.
The kit, optimized for operation by a single person (4 instruments: 1 reference unit, 3 movable units), fits easily into a carry-on bag. It is equipped with three orthogonally arranged GS-ONE LF 4.5 geophones located inside the housing (conversion factor: 89.4 V/m/s).
The amplitude vibration velocity measurement range is from 2.68 × 10⁻⁸ m/s to 2.68 × 10⁻² m/s. The internal battery provides up to 32 hours of operation, which is enough for 2–3 work shifts on a single charge, even during surveys at sub-zero temperatures.

*For example, the three-component GS-ONE LF 4.5 geophone, with the spikes removed, measures 110 × 100 × 65 mm and weighs 1,200 g including the cable and installed spikes.

DR-24 Ex (INDM.416613.001-03)
Explosion-proof version for use in explosive atmospheres
245 × 180 × 195 mm, 7,200 g

A vibroscope for use in explosive atmospheres, including mines, quarries and oil refineries. It is equipped with three GS-ONE LF 4.5 geophones (conversion factor: 89.4 V/m/s) mounted orthogonally inside the explosion-proof enclosure. The measurement range for the amplitude of vibration velocity is from 2.68 × 10⁻⁸ m/s to 2.68 × 10⁻² m/s. It features a battery with double capacity, providing continuous recording for up to 5 days.

D-REG (currently discontinued)
The first mass-produced version of seismic recorders
220 x 150 x 50 mm, 1,800 g

A version manufactured in 2022–2023. It was developed for scientific research tasks. It was used in pilot projects at NLMK with the participation of Novosibirsk State University, and in surveys in Norilsk with the participation of the Ecology Research Center of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
This version demonstrated high efficiency and laid the foundation for the development of the DR-24 Vibroscopes. Further development of this recorder version had to be discontinued due to the limited size of the internal memory, which imposed significant restrictions on monitoring functions. The input circuits and power supply circuitry are fully identical to those of the DR-24 Vibroscope. This version did not undergo certification of metrological characteristics by an independent standardisation centre (no metrological certificate is available); however, its main parameters are identical to those of the DR-24 Vibroscope.
